Rhode Island State Quarter Coloring Page

The Rhode Island state quarter coloring page shows an image of the quarter issued in 2001 that represents the state of Rhode Island.

The Rhode Island quarter honors the "Ocean State" and its most popular sport with a sailboat gliding through Narragansett Bay, past the Pell Bridge, which links the towns of Newport and Jamestown.

Rhode Island may be the smallest state in the union, but it has more than 400 miles of coastline. Known as the sailing capital of the world, Rhode Island was home to the Americas Cup for more than 50 years. This famous sailboat race, which always takes place in the home port of the previous year's winner, draws sailors from all over the world. If the U.S. wins this summer, it will once again take place in the waters of Narragansett Bay, which links Newport Rhode Island to Providence and the Atlantic Ocean.
